Hark! I'm Melisa Des Rosiers and I'm an illustrator currently living in Los Angeles. I've always been drawn to the paranormal and supernatural, intrigued by what lies in the shadows and in the periphery. I love the dense black of ink on paper, the texture of pen carving lines and creating characters and forms. I was born and raised in Chicago, and received my BFA in Art + Design: Illustration from Columbia College Chicago. I also have an MFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University.

I’ve had clients in film, advertising, wine and publishing. I am available for work and open for commissions.
